Amanee Izhaq is an award winning Palestinian - American poet and producer from Northern California. Her work has been featured in the United Nations, Be Still Media Foundation, The Markaz Review, Palestine Festival of Literature, Falastin Literary Magazine, Los Angeles Poet Society Press, LA River Arts, and more. She has taught and performed across the country and alongside Grammy nominated Spoken Word artists, Scholars and Poet Laureates. Her work takes influence from Hakawati, the ancient Arab art of storytelling, being that her great grandfather, Khaleel was the village Hakawati of his time.
Her debut short film, Arrows Of Vengeance, is an official selection for the 12th Annual GOA Short Film Festival and is under submission across film festivals across the world.
